Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the university, with wide participation from its members, organized a specialized training workshop in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning / National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology. This event coincided with the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and aims to enhance national efforts to support the quality of higher education and promote the culture of entrepreneurship in academic institutions. The workshop was presented by Dr. Engineer Hussein Al-Gartani, Director General of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology. During the workshop, he reviewed international standards for the quality of educational institutions’ performance, focusing on experiences of leading global universities in adopting innovation and qualitative scientific research, and transforming them into entrepreneurial projects that contribute to creating wide employment opportunities, supporting the national economy, and enhancing the university’s role in achieving sustainable development. The workshop, titled “Academic Quality Management According to International Specifications and Standards – A Journey Toward International Accreditation,” witnessed wide participation from quality assurance officials in the university’s colleges and departments. The workshop discussed concepts of academic quality, requirements for national and international accreditation, and the best global practices in institutional quality management. In his welcoming speech, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, praised the fruitful cooperation with the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology, emphasizing its crucial role in supporting institutional development and spreading a culture of quality and innovation that contributes to advancing university performance according to international standards. Professor Dr. Al-Zuhairi explained that organizing this workshop aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision, which places quality, innovation, and entrepreneurship at the forefront of its priorities. The university seeks to build strong institutional capacities and prepare an academic environment that enables the transformation of knowledge into tangible developmental impact.
