Department of Intelligent Medical Systems Participates in Al-Mustaqbal University Entrepreneurship Week with Student Projects Supporting Sustainable Development Goals

The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the activities of Entrepreneurship Week, which commenced today at the university, as part of the institution’s efforts to foster a culture of innovation and promote entrepreneurial solutions with societal impact. The department’s participation included the involvement of faculty members and students in presenting a series of projects focused on sustainability and practical, innovative ideas that serve the community. These initiatives align with the university’s vision of linking education to the labor market and transforming academic knowledge into actionable solutions. This participation also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by: Supporting innovation and technical solutions (Goal 9) Enhancing quality education through practical application and skill development (Goal 4) Contributing to improved health and well-being services depending on the nature of the projects (Goal 3) Promoting sustainable consumption and production practices as well as climate action through project initiatives (Goals 12 & 13) Emphasizing the importance of collaboration and partnerships to achieve lasting impact (Goal 17) The department’s engagement reflects its commitment to nurturing student talent and developing entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork skills, strengthening its presence in high-quality university events, and reinforcing its role in producing initiatives with sustainable impact. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
