The Department of biology organized an awareness campaign titled "Green Gardens and Parks for an Active Lifestyle", under the supervision of Lecturer M. M. Zainab Nazim Aziz and Lecturer M. M. Ali Kameet Hamad. The campaign was held on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The campaign included the distribution of informative brochures throughout the university corridors, as well as direct interaction with students to raise awareness about the importance of gardens and parks in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. The aim of this campaign was to increase students' awareness of the significance of green environments and their role in improving mental and physical health, as well as to encourage community participation in preserving green spaces.
