The Department of Anesthesia Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific visit to Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Talib Jijaan, with the participation of second-year students, on Sunday, 09/02/2026, as part of efforts to enhance practical training and link theoretical knowledge with clinical application. The visit included field tours of all hospital departments, including the Emergency Department, laboratories, operating rooms, intensive care units, and delivery rooms, where students were introduced to the work mechanisms and medical procedures followed in each department. The visit also featured scientific and educational lectures delivered by the hospital’s medical staff, focusing on practical and professional aspects related to anesthesia technologies, contributing to the development of students’ clinical skills and professional competence. During the visit, Al-Mustaqbal University was introduced to the hospital’s administrative staff as the first university in Iraq, in order to strengthen academic and institutional cooperation between the university and healthcare institutions. At the conclusion of the visit, the university delegation presented the Al-Mustaqbal University Shield to the hospital administration in appreciation of their cooperation and support in making the scientific visit a success. This visit aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing high-quality practical learning opportunities that contribute to preparing qualified healthcare professionals to meet the needs of the healthcare sector.
