Under the patronage of Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al Mustaqbal University, the university organized a specialized training workshop in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning / National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology, coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to supporting higher education quality and promoting entrepreneurial trends within academic institutions. The workshop was presented by Eng. Dr. Hussein Al-Gartani, Director General of the Center, who discussed key international standards for institutional performance quality, showcasing experiences of leading global universities in adopting creative ideas and transforming them into entrepreneurial projects that support the national economy and sustainable development. The workshop, titled “Academic Quality Management According to International Standards – A Journey Towards International Accreditation”, saw participation from quality assurance officers across the university’s colleges and departments. It focused on concepts of academic quality, national and international accreditation requirements, and globally recognized best practices in institutional quality management. Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, emphasized the importance of collaboration with the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology in promoting a culture of quality and innovation. He noted that the workshop aligns with the university’s strategic vision, which prioritizes quality, innovation, and entrepreneurship, aiming to build strong institutional capacities and create an academic environment capable of transforming knowledge into tangible developmental impact.
