The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop entitled “Intellectual Security and Its Role in Protecting Youth” on Monday, 9 February 2026, delivered by Professor Dr. Saad Hassan Mohammed Ali, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Dentistry and with the participation of faculty members. The workshop was held as part of the College’s commitment to strengthening intellectual awareness and promoting academic and national values within the university community. The workshop addressed the concept of intellectual security, its dimensions, and its importance in protecting young people from ideological deviations. It emphasized the role of educational institutions and faculty members in fostering responsible and balanced thinking, promoting a culture of moderation and constructive dialogue, and reinforcing national belonging. The session also highlighted contemporary intellectual challenges and appropriate approaches to addressing them through continuous guidance and awareness. This activity forms part of the College Deanship’s efforts to support awareness initiatives that contribute to building a psychologically and intellectually safe academic environment, while reinforcing the educational and societal role of the institution alongside its academic mission.
