Under the patronage of the President of Future University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Industrial College Technologies, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Women and Their Role in Promoting Justice and Human Rights”, on Monday, February 9, 2026. The workshop addressed the pivotal role of women in consolidating the principles of social justice and promoting human rights through empowerment and active participation in various fields, considering women as a fundamental element in achieving sustainable development and building a balanced society based on equality and respect for human dignity. The workshop also highlighted contemporary challenges related to climate change and the associated risks, clarifying their impact on women and emphasizing their role in raising community awareness and supporting initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of these changes. The organization of the workshop came in implementation of the Climate Change and Associated Risks (Axis Five), within Future University’s commitment to enhancing legal and social awareness and supporting the role of women in addressing societal and environmental challenges.
