The Department of Communication Engineering Technologies held a meeting with fourth-year students to discuss the final stages of their graduation project under the supervision of Dr. Noor Abdul Karim, focusing on the project “Ventilation System with AI-Based Indoor Air Quality Monitoring.” The meeting addressed the integration of artificial intelligence techniques with an indoor air quality monitoring system, where smart algorithms rely on data from fine particle sensors (PM2.5 and PM10) and gas sensors, including carbon dioxide (CO₂) and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Machine learning algorithms are applied to analyze pollution levels and predict future air quality. Based on the algorithm outcomes, dynamic control of the ventilation fan is implemented to optimize air quality while reducing energy consumption. This integration of sensors and AI enhances the efficiency of the ventilation system promotes public health and supports environmental sustainability Al-Mustaqbal University… the first among private universities in Iraq
