As part of global and local efforts to raise awareness about cancer and highlight the importance of prevention and early detection, an awareness campaign was organized under the slogan “Together to Fight Cancer.” The campaign witnessed wide distribution of educational brochures containing important information about cancer symptoms, causes, methods of prevention, and early screening. The campaign was conducted under the supervision of Lecturer Assistant Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. The brochures provided simplified information for readers on the importance of avoiding risk factors such as smoking and adopting a healthy lifestyle, in addition to guidance on proper response to early warning signs of the disease. This initiative aimed to empower individuals to protect themselves and their families from the risks of this globally prevalent disease.
