As part of the media awareness program for the second semester, the Department of Media at the University of AL_Mustaqbal organized an awareness seminar addressing the phenomenon of media misinformation on social media platforms, aiming to enhance awareness of the dangers of misleading information and the ways to confront it. The seminar was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Munther Ali Ahmed and Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Nihad, and was held in the Student Activities Hall. The event included the screening of an awareness film highlighting the methods and sources of media misinformation on social networking platforms. The seminar witnessed active participation and constructive discussions, involving faculty members and first-year students of the Department of Media, in addition to other attendees, contributing to enriching the dialogue and reinforcing a culture of media literacy and responsible engagement with digital content.
