Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in scientific cooperation with the Faculty of Commerce – Mansoura University (Arab Republic of Egypt) and the College of Business Economics – Al-Nahrain University, the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University announces the holding of its Second International Scientific Conference entitled: “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Response Policy” The conference will be held on April 1–2, 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference aims to highlight the fundamental issues related to poverty and sustainable development, analyze the economic and social costs resulting from the expansion of poverty, and explore governmental response policies and social protection and welfare programs. It also seeks to examine mechanisms for promoting environmental and economic sustainability. Furthermore, the conference addresses the role of digital transformation, financial technology, and artificial intelligence in tackling developmental challenges and formulating innovative solutions that support inclusive growth. The conference includes several specialized scientific tracks, most notably: Economic Track Administrative Track Accounting Track Financial Track The event will host a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities, contributing to the enrichment of scholarly dialogue and the exchange of expertise and leading experiences. The organizing committee invites researchers and interested scholars to actively participate by submitting their abstracts and research papers within the specified deadlines.
