The College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a Graduation Research Forum for final-year students under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji, along with a number of department heads and faculty members. This event was held as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and enhance the quality of academic outcomes.
The forum included presentations and discussions of graduation research projects conducted by students from the Departments of Anesthesia Techniques, Radiological Techniques, and Optical Techniques. The studies addressed scientific and applied topics directly related to the needs and demands of the healthcare sector. Students presented their research before a specialized scientific committee, demonstrating an advanced level of competence in research preparation, data analysis, and systematic scientific presentation.
The submitted research projects were evaluated by an academic review committee formed in accordance with approved regulations. The committee adopted rigorous scientific criteria in its assessment, including originality of the idea, soundness of methodology, accuracy of data analysis, quality of presentation and discussion, as well as the applicability of research outcomes in serving the community and developing healthcare institutions.
At the conclusion of the forum, the names of the outstanding research projects that received the highest evaluations were announced, recognizing their scientific rigor and innovative approach. The College reaffirmed its commitment to supporting student researchers and encouraging them to produce high-quality studies that contribute to the advancement of the healthcare sector and the service of society.
