In implementation of the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the introductory workshop on the Ministerial Smart Learning Platform (IQ-Learn) was held on Tuesday, 10/2/2026, as part of supporting digital transformation and adopting modern e-learning systems in Iraqi universities.
The workshop was attended by the Rapporteur of the Department of Life Sciences, Asst. Lect. Jaafar Hamed Jaafar, who emphasized the importance of activating and adopting the platform in managing academic courses, stressing the necessity of keeping pace with technological developments in line with the Ministry’s directives.
The training course aimed to introduce the mechanism of using the (IQ-Learn) platform and highlight its key services, including managing virtual classrooms, organizing lectures, uploading scientific materials and assignments, as well as preparing electronic exams and assessments, all of which contribute to enhancing the educational process and improving academic performance.
This participation reflects the Department of Life Sciences’ commitment to engaging with modern ministerial programs and strengthening the efficiency of e-learning in a way that serves students and supports the academic mission.
