Al Mustaqbal University continues the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the Department of Career Development and Follow-up at the University Presidency organizing the events of the third day. The event was attended by Prof. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, Scientific Assistant to the University President, along with Prof. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, Assistant Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, and several faculty members from the department.
The activities began with a speech by Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Department of Career Development and Follow-up, in which she outlined the third day’s themes, emphasizing the importance of sustainability, empowering Iraqi women, promoting entrepreneurship for people with determination, the need to adopt socially responsible entrepreneurship, and the university’s role in supporting active and influential community groups.
The day’s program included a women’s forum entitled “Iraqi Women and Entrepreneurship for Change,” a panel discussion on entrepreneurship for people with determination highlighting inspiring success stories of turning challenges into opportunities, and a lecture on community sustainability and its role in supporting entrepreneurship, with a focus on the importance of community partnerships in achieving sustainable development.
The activities also featured success stories of Al Mustaqbal University female students and honored their achievements, in addition to participation by the College of Fine Arts through an art exhibition reflecting the role of Iraqi women in society.
These events affirm Al Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting inclusive entrepreneurship, empowering women, and enhancing the role of people with determination, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and the university’s vision for community service.
