Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Professor Dr. Azhar Abdul Mohsen, and in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty members and dear students, the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies Engineering organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled: “Horizons of Funded Education and Scientific Research in Artificial Intelligence Applications – Academic Opportunities in British Universities.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mashhadani from University of Northampton, where he highlighted the most prominent funded academic pathways and research opportunities available in the field of Artificial Intelligence within British higher education institutions. He also discussed mechanisms for obtaining academic and research support, contributing to the enhancement of students’ capabilities and opening prospects for sustainable international academic collaboration. This event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), through supporting scientific research and strengthening international academic partnerships. The organization of such scientific activities reaffirms the leading position of Al-Mustaqbal University as the first among private universities in Iraq, and reflects its continuous commitment to advancing the academic and research standards of its students while reinforcing its international academic presence.
