Professor Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie, Head of the Media Department at Al-Mustaqbal University and representative of the Deans and Heads of Media Departments in private universities within the Deans’ Committee, led an academic delegation comprising a number of deans and department heads on an official visit to the Media Training Institute affiliated with the Iraqi Media Network. The visit included a meeting with Dr. Hassan Al-Saeedi, Director of the Media Training Institute, during which prospects for joint cooperation were discussed, as well as mechanisms for launching a specialized training program for media students in private universities. The initiative aims to enhance students’ practical skills and develop their professional expertise within the media work environment. The program of the visit also featured a field tour of the studios of Al-Iraqiya TV and Radio Republic of Iraq, where the delegation reviewed workflow processes and training mechanisms adopted within official media institutions. At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Institute’s administration for their warm reception and spirit of cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination to support the educational and training journey of media students in private universities.
