The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, inaugurated the Grand Celebration Hall during an official ceremony held alongside the outstanding success of EURAS Academy 2026, as well as the achievement of advanced rankings by several academic departments within the Iraqi national classification. The event was attended by senior leadership members, faculty, and university staff. The opening of the hall represents a significant addition to the university’s academic and cultural infrastructure, reflecting its commitment to developing an integrated environment capable of hosting major scientific events, in alignment with its modernization and sustainable development plans. In his speech, the University President affirmed that these accomplishments were the result of strategic planning and teamwork, praising the efforts of the teaching, administrative, and technical staff in strengthening the university’s position among its peers. For his part, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, noted that the inauguration coincided with the university’s hosting of a distinguished international academic event—the first of its kind at the level of Iraqi universities—with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of the European–Asian Universities Union (EURAS), and a number of university presidents and academic figures. The ceremony concluded with the screening of an introductory film highlighting the university’s journey and achievements, as well as a documentary showcasing the key milestones and international participation in EURAS Academy 2026.
