Student Creativity in AI-Powered Astrophotography at Al-Mustaqbal University

Within the framework of student activities at the Artificial Intelligence Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University – ranked first among private universities in Iraq, the distinguished student Abdullah Diaa excelled in the field of astrophotography by employing artificial intelligence algorithms to enhance the quality of astronomical images and reduce digital noise, thereby revealing the finest details of celestial objects. The student presented a collection of his outstanding astrophotography works, explaining the digital processing mechanisms based on artificial intelligence techniques. This reflected an advanced level of integration between technical skills and scientific creativity, and highlighted the ability of the department’s students to apply modern technologies across diverse scientific fields beyond the traditional scope of specialization. This activity embodies Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting applied learning and fostering students’ research and innovation skills, and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through promoting the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in developing solutions that serve knowledge advancement and technological progress.
