One of the technical colleges witnessed a remarkable achievement as first-year morning study students designed and implemented a set of educational electrical boards under the supervision of Engineer Mustafa Mohammed Hassan, as part of the requirements for the Fundamentals of Electricity course.
This project aimed to strengthen the students’ practical skills and connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications. The students manufactured boards that included lighting circuits, control switches, protective circuit breakers, as well as models of series and parallel circuits, while adhering to occupational safety standards and ensuring high-quality wiring.
The project supervisors emphasized that this initiative contributed to developing students’ skills in reading electrical diagrams, executing proper wiring connections, identifying and troubleshooting errors, in addition to enhancing teamwork and responsibility.
For their part, the students expressed their happiness at completing this work, which represents their first fully integrated practical experience inside the laboratory workshops. They noted that the project boosted their confidence in their abilities and paved the way for their upcoming academic stages.
This activity comes within the department’s plan to prepare qualified technical cadres equipped with fundamental electrical skills and capable of meeting future labor market demands.
