The Department of Archaeology at Al-Mustaqbal University, College of Arts and Humanities, organized a scientific workshop titled “Domestic Violence and Its Impact on Students,” delivered by Lecturer Assist. Haider Jabbar Hassan, with the attendance of a number of department students.
The workshop addressed the concept of domestic violence and its various forms, as well as its psychological and social repercussions on students. It also discussed its direct impact on academic performance and behavior within the university environment. Furthermore, it highlighted the role of educational institutions in raising awareness and reducing this phenomenon, emphasizing the importance of psychological and social support for affected students.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through questions and discussions that focused on methods of awareness and intervention. Participants stressed the importance of continuing such scientific activities that contribute to building a safe and supportive educational environment for students.
