The College of Health and Medical Technologies / Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a workshop entitled “Women’s Economic Empowerment”, presented by Ms. Sajaa Falah Hassan and Ms. Ola Salman Hamza, with the participation of a number of department students. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of women’s economic empowerment and their effective role in achieving sustainable development, enhancing their participation in the labor market, and developing their skills in entrepreneurship and small project management. The workshop covered several topics, including an introduction to the concept of economic empowerment, the main challenges facing women in the professional field, as well as presenting successful models and inspiring experiences of pioneering women in various sectors. During the workshop, the lecturers emphasized the necessity of supporting women’s potential and providing suitable opportunities to develop their abilities, contributing to building a balanced society capable of keeping pace with modern requirements. At the conclusion of the workshop, the students expressed their appreciation for this valuable academic initiative, praising its importance in raising awareness and empowering women in various fields.
