Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department organized, within the framework of implementing the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security / Participation and Prevention Pillar / Paragraph No. (3) on combating extremism and promoting community peace, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), an awareness campaign was held on Saturday, 14/2/2026, represented by the distribution of a brochure entitled: “The Role of Men and Women in Combating Extremism and Promoting a Culture of Peace” Objectives of the Brochure: Enhancing joint awareness of the responsibility of men and women in combating extremist ideologies. Highlighting the importance of family and community cooperation in spreading the values of moderation and tolerance. Emphasizing the role of women in conscious upbringing and building generations, and the role of men in supporting family and intellectual stability. Promoting a culture of dialogue, respect for diversity, and the rejection of all forms of violence. AL_mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq
