The Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific workshop entitled “Cancerous Moles: Prevention and Early Detection”, presented by Dr. Hussein Safaa on Tuesday, 3/2/2026, with the participation of a number of department students and faculty members. The workshop aimed to raise health awareness about cancerous moles and the importance of early detection to avoid potential health risks. It also focused on identifying warning signs of abnormal moles and ways to prevent them. The program included a theoretical lecture followed by a practical session, during which participants learned how to properly examine moles and the importance of monitoring any changes, in addition to addressing students’ questions on this vital topic. Dr. Hussein Safaa emphasized the crucial role of awareness in reducing the risks of serious skin diseases, stressing the importance of skin health and regular check-ups with a specialist.
