The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering launched an awareness campaign titled **“One Minute Against Extremism”** under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Firas Thaer Raouf, Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar, and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. The campaign involved producing and publishing a short video highlighting the dangers of extremist ideology and its negative impact on both individuals and society, while emphasizing the importance of promoting the values of tolerance, moderation, and respect for diversity. The one-minute video delivers a clear message: confronting extremism begins with awareness, enlightened thinking, and shared social responsibility—especially among young people, who represent the cornerstone of building a cohesive and secure society.
