It also included a scientific presentation on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the most important related international conventions, along with a discussion of the legal and humanitarian dimensions of these crimes and their impact on strengthening societal awareness of the importance of protecting rights and freedoms and preventing the recurrence of such violations.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from students through questions and discussions, which contributed to enhancing their legal and humanitarian awareness and reinforcing the values of justice, citizenship, and respect for human dignity.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Dr. Raed Jawad emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific activities that contribute to developing national awareness and promoting human rights concepts among students, in line with the university’s mission of building a conscious and responsible generation.
