The Head of the Business Administration Department held a meeting on Tuesday, 17/2/2026, with the instructors of assessment-based courses for the academic year 2025–2026 in the department’s meeting hall, in the presence of several faculty members and a representative of the Quality Assurance Unit.
The meeting aimed to enhance academic rigor, ensure the quality of the examination process, and measure the achievement of learning outcomes in accordance with the approved academic standards.
The meeting addressed several important topics, most notably the mechanisms for preparing examination questions according to the test blueprint and linking them to learning outcomes, taking into consideration Bloom’s cognitive levels, unifying question formats across different sections, and preparing the model answer key prior to the examination date.
Emphasis was also placed on adopting accurate marking procedures, entering grades electronically within the specified deadlines, and conducting statistical analysis of students’ results after the examinations to identify strengths and address areas of weakness. In addition, adherence to university regulations regarding exceptional cases and the prevention of cheating was stressed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department emphasized the importance of documenting all examination procedures and working in a spirit of teamwork to ensure fairness, transparency, and the quality of educational outcomes in line with the requirements of academic accreditation.
This meeting comes as part of a series of periodic meetings held by the department in preparation for the final examinations and in its commitment to improving academic performance and enhancing students’ level.
