Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, the College organized the Graduation Research Forum for final-year students. The event was attended by the Dean, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji, along with several department heads and faculty members, as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and enhance the quality of academic outcomes.
The forum featured the presentation and discussion of a number of graduation research projects from various departments, including the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, the Department of Radiology Techniques, and the Department of Optical Techniques. The presented studies addressed scientific and applied topics aligned with the needs of the healthcare sector. Students showcased their research outputs before a specialized scientific committee, reflecting an advanced level of research competence and practical skills.
The participating research projects were evaluated by an academic review committee formed in accordance with approved regulations. The committee adopted rigorous scientific criteria in its assessment, including originality of the research idea, soundness of methodology, accuracy of data analysis, quality of presentation, and the applicability of research outcomes in serving the community.
At the conclusion of the forum, the evaluation committee announced the names of the winning research projects distinguished by their scientific rigor and innovation, reaffirming the College’s commitment to supporting student researchers and encouraging the production of high-quality studies that contribute to the development of the healthcare sector and community service.
