In fulfillment of the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education). Within the framework of strengthening the practical aspect and linking theoretical knowledge with field application, students of the Department of Optical Technologies commenced their practical training in the Ocular Prosthetics and Medical Eyeglasses Laboratory, under the supervision of the specialized teaching staff. The training included introducing students to the mechanisms of manufacturing and fitting ocular prostheses, as well as the materials used in their preparation. In addition, students were trained on measuring, edging, and fitting ophthalmic lenses into appropriate frames in accordance with approved scientific standards. They also became familiar with modern devices used for lens inspection and adjustment, ensuring accuracy and quality in practice. This practical activity aims to develop students’ technical and professional skills and prepare them for the labor market by providing them with direct hands-on experience in the field of ocular prosthetics and eyeglass manufacturing, thereby enhancing their future competence in delivering comprehensive optical services according to the highest quality standards.
