The college organized an awareness workshop for second-year students entitled “Students’ Duties and Responsibilities,” delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Ali Sayehood. The workshop addressed the key obligations that students are expected to uphold on campus, including respecting regulations and instructions, preserving public property, adhering to professional academic conduct, and demonstrating university ethics, as well as cooperating with peers and faculty members. It also emphasized students’ responsibility to represent their educational institution positively both inside and outside the university. The “Students’ Duties and Responsibilities” workshop is based on the principle of fostering a culture of goodness within the university environment by promoting values of respect, discipline, and responsibility, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education. Building a student who is committed to their rules and responsibilities is a fundamental step toward preparing an aware generation that contributes positively to serving its community. The university aspires to be the leading almustaqbul university among Iraqi universities.
