The Anesthesia Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a humanitarian support visit on Sunday, 15 February 2026, to patients of the Hematology Department, Chemotherapy Transplant Unit, at Marjan Medical City.
The visit aimed to strengthen human communication and provide moral support to patients, as well as to foster a sense of humanity and social responsibility among students of the Anesthesia Techniques Department. It also sought to raise awareness of the importance of comprehensive healthcare and positive social interaction within hospital settings.
This activity aligns with the department’s commitment to community service and the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being and Goal 4: Quality Education, by enhancing humanitarian awareness and social skills among healthcare students.
During the visit, appreciation and thanks were extended to the staff of the Hematology Unit in recognition of their dedicated efforts in serving patients. The community service activity was supervised by Dr. Fadhil Al-Sultani, Director of Marjan Medical City; Dr. Amasi Falah Jabbar; Teaching Assistant Ali Qasim Jawad; Ms. Zahraa Imad Alwan; and Ms. Duha Ali Khudair.
A number of students from the Anesthesia Techniques Department, who are Sustainability Ambassadors and volunteers, participated in this initiative, reflecting their active role in community engagement and humanitarian service within the healthcare sector.
