Al-Mustaqbal University continued Global Entrepreneurship Week for the second consecutive day, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. The activities were organized by the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division in cooperation with the Technical Engineering College, in line with the University’s strategic vision to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and alignment with labor market needs.
Held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation,” the day highlighted the growing role of AI in supporting entrepreneurship and building a knowledge-based economy, particularly within the Iraqi market and local software sector.
The program featured a keynote address by Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Technical Engineering College, a specialized seminar on AI and entrepreneurship delivered by Professor Dr. Salwan Ubaid Waheed, and the launch of the Al-Mustaqbal AI Hackathon, linking student innovations to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Activities also included a Digital Innovations Exhibition, a virtual reality AI experience, and a scientific competition among engineering departments, showcasing students’ creativity, technical skills, and readiness for the digital future.
The day concluded by reaffirming the pivotal role of AI and digital transformation in building an integrated, youth-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem supported by academia, with Al-Mustaqbal University continuing its impactful activities throughout Global Entrepreneurship Week.
