The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded meeting that included the Vice Presidents, Deans of Colleges and their Assistants, Heads of Academic Departments, and representatives of the Information Technology Unit. The meeting aimed to establish a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the university’s position as an advanced digital academic institution that keeps pace with global standards in administration and education. The meeting featured a comprehensive review of digital transformation initiatives. Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Kitab, Director of Student Affairs, delivered a detailed presentation on advanced software systems for student information management and the ministry-approved platform, emphasizing the importance of launching an integrated training program for college staff to ensure efficient implementation and optimal utilization of digital systems in support of the educational process. Regarding academic and research platforms, Lecturer Ali Obaid from the Department of Information Technology provided a thorough explanation of research management platforms, scientific activities systems, and laboratory management tools, in addition to the “Electronic Teaching Load” platform for faculty members. These systems aim to simplify administrative procedures and enhance academic performance efficiency within an integrated digital framework. Engineer Wameed Diaa, the University Website Administrator, also outlined the mechanisms for developing and continuously updating the official university website, as well as regularly publishing scientific activities, in order to strengthen the university’s digital presence and reinforce its standing within the global academic community. The University President commended the efforts exerted in developing these software systems, praising the role of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in overseeing implementation. He emphasized the importance of direct supervision by the deanships in applying modern technologies, adopting artificial intelligence applications in administration and education, and enhancing the capabilities of staff members and unit officials to keep pace with rapid technological advancement.
