Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultali, the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Science organized a specialized scientific lecture for second-stage students, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance the academic track and improve the scientific and practical level of students. The lecture was held on 16/2/2026 at 11:00 am inside the laboratories of the Faculty of Science, in the presence of students of the second stage in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, a lecture in the subject of "Search and Ranking Algorithms" within the vocabulary of the curriculum of the same subject. The teaching lecture was presented by Aya Mohammed Hussein Muhammad Ali, with the participation of Al-Ma'ida Benin Nazem Sarhan, where it included a detailed explanation of the most important search and ranking algorithms used in artificial intelligence applications, while explaining the mechanisms of their implementation programmatically and measuring their efficiency, as well as reviewing practical applications within the laboratory that contributed to the consolidation of theoretical concepts and enhancing students' skills in problem analysis and improving software performance. This lecture is part of a series of scientific activities that the Department of Artificial Intelligence is keen to organize, in line with the vision of the Faculty of Science in preparing qualified academic cadres who possess advanced scientific and technical skills that keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and the requirements of the labor market. It is noteworthy that Al-Mustaqbal University is the first on Iraqi private universities, in confirmation of its academic leadership and continuous commitment to applying quality and innovation standards in higher education
