Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, chaired an extensive meeting attended by the vice presidents, college deans and their assistants, heads of academic departments, and representatives of the Information Technology unit. The meeting aimed to establish a comprehensive strategic roadmap to enhance the University’s position as an advanced digital academic institution aligned with international standards in administration and education.
The meeting featured an integrated review of the digital transformation framework. Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Kitab, Director of Student Affairs, delivered a detailed presentation on the advanced HEPIQ software system for Student Information Management, as well as the Ministry-approved IQ-Learning platform. He emphasized the importance of launching a comprehensive training program for college staff to ensure efficient implementation and optimal utilization of digital systems in support of the educational process.
Within the axis of academic and research platforms, Lecturer Ali Ubaid from the Information Technology Department provided a thorough explanation of the research management platforms, scientific activities and laboratory management systems, in addition to the “Electronic Teaching Load” platform designated for academic staff. These systems contribute to simplifying administrative procedures and enhancing academic performance efficiency within an integrated digital framework.
Furthermore, Engineer Wameed Diaa, the University Website Administrator, reviewed the mechanisms for developing and continuously updating the official university website and regularly publishing scientific activities, thereby strengthening the University's digital presence and consolidating its position within the global academic landscape.
The University President commended the efforts exerted in developing and implementing these software systems, expressing appreciation for the role of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in supervising the execution process. He also stressed the importance of direct oversight by the deanships in applying modern technologies and reaffirmed the institution’s serious commitment to integrating artificial intelligence applications in administration and education, alongside enhancing the capabilities of staff members and unit officials to keep pace with rapid technological advancements.
