The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded meeting attended by his assistants, college deans and their associates, heads of academic departments, and representatives of the Information Technology units. The meeting aimed to establish a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the University’s position as an advanced digital academic institution that keeps pace with global standards in administration and education.
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the pillars of digital transformation. Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Ketab, Director of Student Affairs, delivered a detailed presentation on the advanced HEPIQ software for student information management and the Ministry-approved IQ-Learning platform. He emphasized the importance of launching an integrated training program for college staff to ensure efficient implementation and the effective use of digital systems in supporting the educational process.
Within the framework of academic and research platforms, lecturer Ali Ubaid from the Department of Information Technology provided a thorough explanation of research management platforms, scientific activities and laboratory management systems, in addition to the “Electronic Teaching Load” platform designated for faculty members. These initiatives contribute to simplifying administrative procedures and enhancing the efficiency of academic performance within an integrated digital system.
Engineer Wameed Diaa, the University’s website administrator, also reviewed the mechanisms for developing and updating the official website and regularly publishing scientific activities, thereby strengthening the University’s digital presence and consolidating its position in the global academic arena.
The University President commended the efforts made in completing these software systems, praising the role of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in following up on the implementation. He stressed the importance of direct supervision by the deanships in adopting modern technologies and moving seriously toward employing artificial intelligence applications in administration and education, in addition to developing the capacities of staff members and unit officials to keep pace with rapid technological advancement.
