In line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to comprehensive digital transformation, the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded meeting attended by the Vice Presidents, Deans and their Assistants, Heads of Academic Departments, and representatives of the Information Technology Department, with the presence of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim.
The meeting aimed to develop an integrated executive vision to strengthen the university’s digital infrastructure and advance administrative and academic processes in accordance with international standards in higher education.
During the meeting, a detailed presentation on the pillars of digital transformation was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Kitab, Director of Student Affairs, who reviewed the HEPIQ Student Information Management System and the approved IQ-Learning educational platform. He emphasized the importance of launching specialized training programs for college staff to ensure efficient implementation and optimal utilization of digital systems.
In support of the academic and research environment, Lecturer Ali Ubaid from the Information Technology Department presented an overview of research management systems, scientific activities and laboratory platforms, in addition to the “Electronic Teaching Load” platform for faculty members, which contributes to simplifying procedures and enhancing performance efficiency within an integrated digital framework.
Engineer Wameed Diaa, the University Website Administrator, also outlined mechanisms for developing and continuously updating the official university website. He highlighted the importance of activating departmental websites, including the website of the Anesthesia Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, to effectively showcase academic and scientific activities and strengthen the university’s digital presence.
The University President praised the efforts made in implementing digital transformation projects, commending the role of the deanships in directly supervising the application of modern systems. He further stressed the importance of expanding the use of artificial intelligence applications in administrative and educational fields, as well as enhancing staff competencies to keep pace with rapid technological advancements.
This meeting reflects the university’s strategic commitment to building a smart, sustainable educational environment based on innovation and advanced technologies in support of its academic mission.
