As Part of Ongoing Efforts to Promote a Culture of Tolerance and Moderation, Dr. Sajad Alwan Organized an Awareness Campaign to Combat Extremism
In collaboration with Ms. Maryam Qassem, Dr. Sajad Alwan organized an awareness event aimed at addressing the phenomenon of extremism. The event, held at ALMustaqbal University College of Health and Medical Technologies, witnessed a distinguished attendance from youth and the local community. Participants took part in a series of activities and interactive workshops designed to raise awareness about the dangers of extremism and its impact on society.
Objectives of the Activity:
Understanding the Concept of Extremism: Exploring the roots and causes of extremist ideologies and how to address them peacefully.
Promoting Tolerance: Spreading a culture of dialogue, acceptance of others, and respect for cultural and religious diversity.
Empowering Youth: Engaging young people in awareness initiatives aimed at building their capacity to resist extremist ideologies through education and awareness.
