In line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), an awareness activity entitled: “Extremism and Intellectual Deviation Behavior among University Youth – A Psychological Perspective” was delivered by Ms. Safa Amer Khalil and Mr. Ibrahim Saad, aiming to strengthen the role of education in building sound intellectual awareness among students and promoting the values of moderation, dialogue, and acceptance of others within the university environment. This activity aligns with Goal 4, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The lecture focused on developing critical thinking skills among youth, raising awareness about the dangers of extremism and intellectual deviation, and highlighting the importance of the educational environment in preventing such phenomena. The activity included an interactive presentation that addressed: The concept of extremism from psychological and social perspectives. The causes and factors leading to intellectual deviation among youth. The role of family and university institutions in promoting intellectual security. Preventive strategies through constructive dialogue and continuous awareness. The session concluded by emphasizing that conscious education is the cornerstone of building a safe and stable society, and that universities play a fundamental role in promoting moderation and achieving sustainable development.
