On Saturday, 21/2/2026, a meeting of the Activities Committees was held in the Department of Industrial College Technologies, chaired by the Department Rapporteur, Asst. Lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen, and attended by committee members Dr. Tuqa Hazem Abdullah, Ms. Tabarak Ahmed, and Ms. Ansam Fadel. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to develop plans for student and scientific activities, women empowerment, educational guidance, and psychological counseling, enhance follow-up mechanisms, and address potential obstacles and shortcomings that may hinder their implementation. The meeting witnessed constructive and productive discussions among committee members, during which several proposals and developmental ideas were presented to elevate the quality of activities provided and to better serve students. At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of key recommendations were documented, most notably: • Submitting a detailed monthly plan by each committee. • Monitoring the implementation of the plan and submitting a weekly report indicating the percentage of completion. • Circulating the plans among faculty members to ensure commitment to implementing the proposed activities and active participation in them. This meeting comes within the framework of the Department Presidency’s commitment to fostering a supportive and integrated educational environment that contributes to the scientific, educational, and psychological development of students, in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, in alignment with the College and University’s directions toward supporting purposeful and constructive activities.
