The College of Agricultural Technologies at Al‑Mustaqbal University organized a scientific lecture for second-year students as part of the Plant Tissue Culture course, held in the department halls of the college under the supervision of Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed. This lecture was conducted in support of the academic process and to develop students’ skills in modern agricultural fields.
The lecture included a detailed explanation of the fundamental concepts of plant tissue culture, along with an overview of the most important techniques used in this vital field. It also highlighted its role in improving agricultural production and preserving plant varieties of economic importance.
The session also featured interactive scientific discussions with the students, aimed at strengthening their understanding of the subject matter and providing an opportunity to ask questions related to both the theoretical and practical aspects of tissue culture, thereby reinforcing their scientific knowledge.
This lecture is part of the academic program that the college is keen to implement, focusing on linking theoretical knowledge with practical application and preparing students with the knowledge and skills required to keep pace with modern developments in the agricultural sector.
