The Department of Media at Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop entitled “Cyber Harassment” on February 21 in the Humanities Building, attended by a number of faculty members and students. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Haider Abdulkarim and Assistant Lecturer Hamed Shaker, who discussed the concept of cyber harassment, its various forms in the digital space, its key psychological and social causes, as well as its negative impacts on individuals and society. The workshop also witnessed active engagement from attendees through discussions and interventions that emphasized the importance of promoting digital awareness and adopting safe practices when using social media platforms. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first private university in Iraq.
