Supported by the Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women Affairs Division, the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized, on Sunday, 22/2/2026, an awareness activity titled:
“The Complete Skincare Routine and Its Importance for Both Genders.”
This activity was part of the department’s efforts to promote health and beauty awareness among students, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
The activity provided a detailed explanation of the daily skincare steps, including deep cleansing, using toner, appropriate moisturizing according to skin type, applying sunscreen, and the importance of regular exfoliation. Differences between skin types (oily, dry, combination, and sensitive) were also highlighted, along with guidance on selecting suitable products for each type.
The activity emphasized that skincare is not merely a cosmetic matter but an essential part of personal hygiene and overall health. It is a shared responsibility for both men and women, as it helps prevent skin problems and promotes self-confidence and a healthy appearance.
The activity was conducted by Eng. Heyman Walid Mazloom, with the participation of several students from the department, as part of the department’s series of scientific and awareness-raising activities.
