Al-Mustaqbal University Celebrates the Conclusion of the 16th Mahdawi Tent Festival Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the activities of the 16th Mahdawi Tent Festival, held in cooperation with the Center for Specialized Studies on Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), amidst a large audience and the participation of distinguished academic, religious, and cultural figures. The closing ceremony included a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, a speech by the university president delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas al-Bawi, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs, who emphasized the importance of these events in consolidating Mahdawi culture and enhancing intellectual awareness among youth, a speech by representatives of the Center, the announcement of the winners of the Mahdawi Tent competitions, and the honoring of volunteers and contributors to the success of the festival. The ceremony also featured a Mahdawi theatrical performance entitled "Restrictions," a participation by the poet Muhammad al-Fatimi, a recitation by the Husseini reciter Qahtan al-Budairi, and a Mahdawi lecture delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Ali al-Najafi (may God grant him success), all in a spiritual atmosphere that reflected the festival's message and noble goals.
