The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received the Governor of Babylon Governorate, Mr. Ali Turki, in an official field visit aimed at expanding cooperation between the university and the local government. This collaboration seeks to support higher education and promote sustainable development projects in the governorate. During the meeting, they discussed ways to improve higher education in Babylon and reviewed mechanisms for institutional coordination between the two sides to support development initiatives and integrate efforts to serve the local community and develop both academic and service infrastructure. The Governor also toured the university, observing the significant progress made in its infrastructure. The tour included ongoing projects to develop internal roads and organize parking areas, as well as the university's continuous expansion and modernization plans. These initiatives are part of the university's strategic vision to provide a comprehensive and safe university environment befitting its students and reflecting the historical significance of the city of Babylon. The governor praised the exceptional efforts of the university administration in combining academic excellence with urban development, emphasizing that Al-Mustaqbal University represents a pioneering model in supporting comprehensive development and strengthening effective partnerships between academic and governmental institutions in the province.
