Al-Mustaqbal University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University: A Scientific and Academic Partnership Toward Integration and Innovation

In a step reflecting the strategic direction toward expanding the horizons of academic cooperation and strengthening integration between public and private universities, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, signed a joint scientific Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency’s vision of institutional academic openness. The memorandum was signed during an official visit by a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University headed by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The delegation included the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, as well as representatives from the University’s Cultural Relations Department. The delegation was received by the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif, along with the Vice Presidents and a number of academic leaders. Discussions focused on enhancing scientific and research collaboration, coordinating areas of mutual interest, and exploring the launch of pioneering projects that embody the concept of the “productive university” through science and technology parks and technological incubators. The Memorandum of Understanding covers several key areas, most notably joint scientific research, participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops, exchange of academic visits, joint supervision of postgraduate students, benefiting from successful experiences in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, capacity building for academic staff, as well as student summer training and curriculum development. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of higher education and achieve a sustainable scientific and developmental impact.
