A workshop entitled “High Dowries and Marriage Costs: Social Challenges and Practical Solutions for Building a Stable Family” was held, addressing the key social and economic impacts resulting from the rising costs of dowries and marriage, and their effects on youth and society as a whole. The workshop highlighted the importance of balance and moderation in marriage requirements, as well as the need to promote a culture of facilitation and family cooperation to reduce negative social phenomena and enhance social stability. Several practical proposals and solutions were also presented to support young people and encourage them to pursue marriage without excessive financial pressure. The workshop was attended by the staff of the College of Education and witnessed constructive interaction through discussions and contributions that enriched its topics. The workshop was prepared by Ms. Thanaa Bahaa Al-Din, as part of ongoing efforts to raise community awareness and address issues affecting family stability and social development.
