Scientific Participation of the Head of the Smart Medical Systems Department in the 3rd International Conference on Business Analytics for Technology and Security (ICBATS 2025) in Dubai
In a new scientific achievement that reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s active academic presence at the international level, Professor Dr. Mehdi Ebady Manaa, Head of the Smart Medical Systems Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in publishing a joint scientific research paper with Dr. Hawraa Shareef Hamza from the College of Information Technology, University of Babylon. The paper was included in the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Business Analytics for Technology and Security (ICBATS 2025), which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2025.

The study aims to develop an advanced model based on deep learning and knowledge transfer techniques (Deep Transfer Learning) to improve the classification of 5G network services, particularly in scenarios characterized by limited data availability (Scarce Datasets), which represents a major challenge for artificial intelligence applications in real-world environments. The proposed model contributes to enhancing network efficiency, improving Quality of Service (QoS), and supporting intelligent applications that rely on modern telecommunications infrastructure.
This scientific achievement represents the outcome of academic collaboration between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Babylon and highlights the leading role of Iraqi researchers in keeping pace with global advancements in artificial intelligence, advanced communications, data analytics, and intelligent technologies.
