Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Radwan Salman, Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Thanaa Bahaa Al-Din Abdullah, Head of the Women's Affairs Unit at the College, presented an awareness workshop on digital harassment on Sunday, February 22nd, at 10:00 AM at the College. The workshop was attended by Ms. Mary Omran, Head of the Women's Affairs Division at the University, as well as female officials and members of the Women's Affairs Committee in the College's departments, and a number of faculty and administrative staff.
The workshop addressed the concept of digital harassment and electronic blackmail, its forms, causes, and psychological and social effects on the individual and society. It also covered the legal penalties for perpetrators and emphasized preventative measures at both the individual and community levels. This activity falls within the implementation plan of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women 2026, Axis 3, Paragraph 2, and contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
