The Department of Anesthesia Technologies organized a training workshop for its students on the proper use of the face mask, supervised by Ms. Estabraq Rasool, as part of efforts to enhance clinical skills and improve students’ competence in dealing with various cases inside operating rooms and emergency units.
The workshop included both theoretical and practical sessions covering the types of face masks, correct application techniques, methods to ensure effective ventilation, as well as common mistakes and how to avoid them, all aimed at ensuring patient safety and improving the quality of healthcare services provided.
Ms. Estabraq Rasool emphasized that such workshops help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing students for the labor market according to approved professional standards. She also highlighted the importance of continuous training in developing students’ technical skills.
This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all by preparing qualified healthcare professionals capable of delivering safe and effective care.
At the conclusion of the workshop, students expressed their appreciation for the practical component and stressed the importance of continuing such scientific activities to enhance their confidence and professional competence.
