Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Assistant Professor and Dean of the College of Science, and the Head of the Department of Forensic Evidence, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana, the Department of Forensic Evidence continues its weekly Histology lectures for second-year students (Groups A and B) at the Humanities Building Hall, with wide student attendance.
This activity forms part of the Department’s regular academic schedule, highlighting its central role in organizing and monitoring the implementation of the weekly study plan. The Department ensures proper scheduling, availability of microscopic and instructional tools, and close follow-up of both theoretical and practical components. The Deanship of the College of Science supports these efforts by providing an appropriate academic environment and the necessary scientific resources.
The lectures are conducted under the supervision of the Department’s leadership, emphasizing the integration of theoretical histology concepts with forensic applications, particularly in tissue sample analysis and microscopic interpretation relevant to criminal investigations.
The course is delivered by Assistant Lecturer Huda Nazzal Hussein, who continues to provide systematic scientific explanations of the microscopic structure of human tissues and the identification of pathological changes, supported by visual presentations and applied demonstrations to enhance students’ practical understanding.
The weekly sessions witness wide attendance, including a large number of second-year students, along with the presence of several faculty members, reflecting strong academic commitment and continuous engagement.
These academic efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting sustained high-quality learning, Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through preparing specialized professionals to support justice systems, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through coordinated academic collaboration within the College.
